Hi all,
we are having another IPC on the blog! This one is either impossible or impossibly easy:
Simply state the number of platoon points each platoon accumulated last year, before the points were reset. If no one answers this by Friday, 31th Jan, 10 points will be deducted from each platoon. :)
Test your luck,
B62.
UPDATE: Since no one has answered, the penalty has been applied and Phoenix has leeched the lost points.

Flag Day: Internal Collection publicity event
---------- POST ON BEHALF OF B63 ----------
Apologize for the long post, but these are the important details to take note of for the Flag Day publicity
Objectives of campaign (27-28 Jan 2014)
- Encourage
and convince RI students in the school canteen to donate as much as possible
on 29 Jan
- Raise Awareness of SRC’s humanitarian effort among RI Students
Below is the link to
the booth allocations based on your recess/lunch for both Monday and Tuesday.

Booth details
Carnival
games: When
people come to the booth, invite them to try out the carnival games first (it's
for free so don't collect money)
--- Game
#1: 25 cups would be organised into 5X5 and the person will be required to
throw a coin. The nearer to the middle the person throws the coin, the better
the prize that he gets
--- Game
#2: The person will be required to roll a coin down a slanted platform with
obstacles in it. At the end of the platform, there will be a few holes. Based
on how near the middle hole is to the hole that the coin went into (the nearer
the better), prizes will be awarded
Posters: After
the person has tried out the carnival games, show him the posters and explain
them to him
Ending: 'Please donate as much as you can on the 29/1/14, thank you!'
and move on to the next person
Important
details
--- (Applicable
for Sec 2s only) If there are no Sec 3s around and there is an emergency, don't
panic. Instead, go to the general office and inform Saha at 91034666. Wait
until a Sec 3 arrives
--- As
for your food, take turns among yourselves to eat and to attend to the booths
--- When
at the booth, always welcome people with a pleasant face and organize the
guests into NEAT QUEUES
--- If
nobody comes to the booth, kindly invite people walking across to come take a
look
--- Be
polite at all times
--- Make
sure you conduct the games efficiently

Lost and found
Hey cadets! Two things from Admin:
1) We have a lost and found black Takane M0935 watch. Pls comment here or below if you have misplaced the item. Pictures below:
2) Regarding the pledge cards, I'd like to gently remind everyone that we'll be collecting the cards back during training on 17 Feb. Also, I request that all cadets check whether they accidentally took the card with the serial number 1616, as we currently are not sure if it has been misplaced.
Thanks, and have a good weekend ahead! :D

Start of the Year! (IPC)
Hi all,
why not start the year with an IPC? This IPC is worth 50 points (which will be awarded once the platoon points are reset), and this is your task:
Name the 14 CCA camps leading up to 2014, in chronological order.
Have fun ;)

2014!!!
Wazzup everybody,
Long time no see :D
Hopefully all of you enjoyed your holidays and are prepared to embark on a new year in your RIRC journey.
Just a reminder, there will be training starting Monday, 13 Jan, at the usual timing (3:45 reporting, don't be late!)
Take this weekend to mentally prepare yourself for CCA, because it's gonna be exciting :)
See you there!
