T2W4 Wed Training Room

Hi guys,

Here are the training room results for today. Overall, it was quite chaotic (no one really took control and said "ok, guys, now we need to focus on ______", so in the end the team was uncoordinated and very messy due to the chaos. So in the future, make sure you have a timeline, and you need your team leader to remind everyone what to do when things change or when the scenario progresses. Other than that good job, and keep improving!

Training Room Results for T2W1 Monday Training

Hi guys,

Here are the results for today's training rooms. Please have a look at them

For Epsilon, your score is below your average for the past rooms, so do work on that. Your main weakness is your treatment. Remember to focus on your objectives no matter what distractions there are.

For Iota, you guys achieved the high score for your scenarios done so far (clap clap), so keep on improving! You still have to take note of the fact that even though you are working with minimal logistics, treatment should still be a priority, and you should aim for as complete a treatment as possible, given what is available to you.

For Omega, you guys nearly beat your highscore, and you scored the highest for this training (clap clap). However, your scenarios are still very chaotic, and you need to work on being able to work harmoniously as a team.

Good luck for your future scenarios, and BRING IT ON!

March Camp Training Room Results

Hello,
In case you were curious, here are your scores for the training room practices you guys did during march camp. The basic stuff, like treatment and CT, is worth 65% of your score, while the extra criteria for each room, like your ability to notice details, or your ability to plan, is worth 35%, for a total of 100%.
Remember this is just the start. As you progress along the term, completing training rooms and test scenarios, we will post more results, and you guys can see how much you are improving.
Thanks!

Training Rooms (YAY)

Hi guys,
As you guys know, we are gonna have 1 round of training rooms every training in Term 2. So in case you forgot, I have uploaded the details of the training rooms here.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/k4pb2mr9nj6tvf0/Training%20Room%20Details.pptx?dl=0
Second, before training starts, each platoon has to tell the NCOs which room they wish to do (e.g. Air 1, Water Test, e.t.c...)
Third, please bring your bandages (triangular and rollers) for trainings from now on, since the RCR doesn't have enough bandages to support 3 scenarios at one go
Fourth, you can only do test scenarios on Mondays (when Sec 1s are here), however, you can do the practice scenarios on Wednesdays to practice.
Thanks guys!

Camp Reflections =)

"The real man smiles in trouble, gathers strength from distress, and grows brave by reflection." - Thomas Paine
(This message is ONLY for Sec 1s and 2s.)
Hi cadets,
Sorry for the delay, but camp reflection questions have been uploaded on the Ember's Game website (you will see it as a post once you access the website). Please bring a (good-condition) hard copy of your reflection next training for submission. You have sufficient time to finish your reflections so late submissions will not be entertained.

November Camp Reflections

We are very disappointed to find out that less than half of you submitted your reflections on time. For those who have not completed, you are to do the reflections and send to the respective NCOs by 5th Dec 2200h, along with the reason for your late submission.

As for the rest of you, these people are also part of your batch. Even if you have submitted your reflections, you can still help to remind them of the deadline.

FACom Awareness

Hi all,

DID YOU KNOW?
FACom has actually 2 categories: Management and Awareness. (I bet very few of you actually knew this)

In Management, you are required to work as a team of 6 first aiders to complete a scenario under a time limit.

In Awareness, however, you will do something akin to CAC Shield, as a team of 5 people, you are required to use your creativity and first aid knowledge to design a booth in alignment to the theme “Humanity in First Aid”, and then present it to others.

This year, unlike previous years, we will be opening up the Awareness Category to you guys (Sec 2s and 3s)! So if you're interested, please FB message me or call my number at 97729309 by 22 Nov 12.00 pm.

When you join this competition, it will really open up your eyes and you get to see yourself and your team mates grow and mature along the way. So it will be a interesting experience!

FACom Signups!

Hi Sec 2s and 3s,
We are recruiting a total of 6 first-aiders to form our team which we will be sending to compete in the annual First Aid Competition next year. As you know, this competition is meant to test your first aid and teamwork skills, and will be very similar to most of the scenarios we have done before, just that it will be much more challenging.
Anyone from the Sec 2s and 3s are welcome to join, but you must have the commitment to come for every single reason unless you have valid reason. The trainings will start around this week and will last till the first week of Term 2.
If you are interested to join, please FB message me or call my number at 97729309 by tomorrow (18 Nov) 12.00 pm. Pls note that you may not be selected into the final team even if you apply to join now.
I have been in the FACom team for 2 years, and it has been a memorable experience for me working with my team and improving various skills. As such, I strongly encourage anyone with the drive and passion to join.
